Conventions

Some rules in Archmage are too small to own a chapter, yet too important to leave implicit. This section collects them. The pages are independent — read whichever one you need.

Convention Description
Config ID The unique identifier for each config entry in regular tables. View
Dotted Names One or more segments joined by dots, such as mob.hp. Used as field names to turn flat data into a nested structure. View

The Hash # The universal comment marker. Depending on where it appears, it skips a row, a column, or a worksheet, or blanks a single cell. View
The Double Hash ## Placed in the top-left cell of a region, it exports the whole region as its default export value or zero value. View
The <null> Literal An explicit null in a spreadsheet cell. View
Brace Flags The name suffix in curly braces, such as rate{en}. Designed for mutually exclusive config sets with only minor differences. View
